In early September, Victoria and Mitch were married in the sun-dappled hills of Santa Barbara, wrapped in the humidity of California in the early fall. Their wedding took place at the Belmond El Encanto, a tucked-away bed and breakfast perched high above the city, where palm trees bend over turtle ponds and greenery curls around every corner. Cranes glided overhead, wild California blooms peeked out from the landscape. The day felt like a private garden tour turned coastal dinner party, and that it was.

Together, they got ready in their small villa– fixing hair and tightening ties, just before their first look.

The groom adorned a Bowtie and sleek, black oxfords.

Victoria’s style was soft and refined, a perfect reflection of the setting—she wore a silk gown paired with white kitten heels and a bouquet that with rare, delicate blooms that were as pink as her blush.

The first look. Together under the vines, wiping tears with beaming smiles.

For Couples Portraits, we loped through the streets of Santa Barbara, marveling over all the different cacti, flowering trees, and hanging vines.

We were all in awe of the vibrant fall colors, even on these giant palms down the street.

Their celebration was intimate by design—just a handful of cherished family members gathered around a turtle pond as they exchanged their vows, laughter mingling with birdsong and the gentle rustle of leaves.

“No touching the turtles, please.”

The reflections in the turtle pond left everyone awe-struck, to say the least.

The evening closed on a terrace that overlooked the golden hills, the sky fading to lavender as hors d'oeuvres were passed hand to hand, between stories and soft music. They celebrated this way, together, with champagne, crab, and cake.
