This past may, I had to chance to visit Spain for the first time since leaving it, almost 4 years ago.

There’s a lot to be said about Spain, but I’ll leave it at this - I studied abroad there, I struggled there, I learned and I made the decision there to pursue a career in photography. 4 years ago, I traveled and studied with a broken camera, and the first time I went to Barcelona, I was almost completely unable to get any pictures. I did however, get my first tattoo here. I learned that I was fluent in spanish, here. and I ended the 4 most transformative months of my life, here.

So it was only fitting to return to this great city with my best friend, where we crawled the streets of barcelona, scoured vintage shops, modeled designer dresses, almost fell asleep on the subway, and laughed so hard you could see our tears on the floor. I owe a huge thank you to Dani, for not only making this trip what it was, but for taking the time to learn my camera and get some pictures of me in what can only be described as my dream dress. She’s the best insta-husband I’ve ever had, haha.

Another huge thank you to Leanne Marshall, for allowing us to take their beautiful gown across an ocean and make some magic with it.
