(And Maggie!)
These two. They got married exactly a year after I met them, at another wedding. They were the sweetest, goofiest guests who kept sneaking into the background of my pictures, then giggling and running away. I was like “God I hope they’re engaged so I can I shoot their wedding.” (They weren’t, quite yet, but that was coming really, really soon). Fast forward to their day - Their giggliness and goofiness was magnified ten fold. Everyone that surrounded them, everyone that was there to celebrate alongside them, was so incredibly filled with joy. I laughed more than I took pictures (and I take a lot of pictures). This wedding reminded me so much of why I love what I do, and it’s all because of people.
(and pups!)
Its about the moments where you smirk at each other mid ceremony
or giggle and celebrate while getting beautiful with your best friends.

She’s gaining a new mother today.
It’s running, with enthusiasm, repeatedly when I ask you
“are you willing to run? will you? down that hill?”
It’s being down for anything, when asked “Do you guys wanna lift her up?” “like really high”
“Okay now RUN. AGAIN.”
It’s the cutest bunch of flower girls I’ve ever seen (Thanks, now I want five daughters)
It’s capturing the essence of cute little humans like this one, who are rocking that cheetah jacket.
and the moment when you steal his chest square to wipe your nose mid ceremony.
It’s celebrating with the people you love
In a day that is equal parts wonderful and fleeting.
It’s getting interrupted mid speech by the 5 adorable children who adore their granddad.
It’s dancing with your wife even though you just had spinal surgery a week ago.
& It’s running to dance with your husband because your favorite song comes on and you want to share it with him
It’s dancing your freaking heart out,
On the very best day.
