Fort Collins Wedding // Colorado Wedding Photographer // Mr. & Mrs. Love
Kelli first reached out to me in December, planning a wedding with only three weeks to work with. My answer was yes, from the start. With unclear plans of future deployment and a 21 day engagement, these two put together one of the most intimate and meaningful weddings I have ever attended.
Every element of their wedding was brought together by loved ones: a hand-made bouquet, grandma's mink coats, Maple butter from aspen and the best cornbread I've ever eaten.
I have never attended a wedding where I felt more at home. These two welcomed my team and I immediately, and the day only got better from there.
Their whole wedding party was filled with kind, hilarious people who were willing to kick back and have a little fun. But never too much.
The story behind the ring: Kelli couldn't decide between a rose gold or a silver band, so Waddie had the bright idea to combine them both. I LOVE that little detail.
Kelli has got to be the sweetest person I have ever met; she giggled throughout the whole ceremony and the rest of us couldn't help but laugh when she kept repeating the pastor's words even though her turn was up.
"I do."
After the reception I followed the two of them to Old Town where they shared cider, and their first moments as man and wife on a midnight carriage ride.
Here's to the ever-fitting:
