When I choose my favorites from the year, I don't focus on what necessarily is "the best" of my photographs, but rather which ones really strike me. I choose pictures that strike emotion, the ones that made me smile behind my camera when I took them. I choose the ones that make me proud to be an entrepreneur: the in-between moments where no one is paying attention, the candid details that make a family, a person or a couple, who they are. So, my Best of 2017 isn't only filled with Instagram-worthy couples, but just about everything else. Here's to all my wonderful second shooters, my incredible couples and clients, my beautiful friends and all the wonderful vendors I've had the chance to work alongside and collaborate with this year.
