I first met lauren through a mutual friend, and I quickly learned how incredibly creative and prolifically talented she is. Lauren has designed wedding invitations for my friends, my clients. She does these incredible abstract paintings of mountain-scapes, has worked with brands like madewell and fossil, and even undertook my branding last year. I have a painting of a scottish landscape of hers, hung above my fireplace, that still makes me smile every day. When lauren approached me about shooting her wedding, I was ecstatic. To be trusted to capture the wedding of someone who is likely the most talented person I’ve ever met, was overwhelmingly cool, to say the least. I flew down to dallas with a second shooter and together we ran around the Emerson, through rain and a hail storm, to get some of my most favorite images to date.
